Supercross 2011 is finally here! It has been a long and event-filled off-season. Roger De Coster left a 15 year relationship with Suzuki and went to KTM, where "The Man" will try to increase KTM's American presence in 2011. As part of that effort they signed Andrew Short, who left American Red Bull Honda. Rockstar Makita Suzuki added 2010's second place finisher in the AMA Pro Motocross Championship, Brett Metcalfe, to go alongside the 2010 champ of both Supercross and Motocross, Ryan Dungey. Josh Grant switched teams with Davi Millsaps. Trey Canard moved up from the 250 class to ride with Red Bull Honda. Jake Weimer signed a deal with Kawasaki's factory team and then broke his arm in practice. James Stewart and Ryan Villopoto are back from injuries. Chad Reed started his own team, "Two Two Motorsports". Christophe Pourcel has yet to sign a deal, and the Supercross class will more than likely be without one of the world's top riders. It is shaping up to be quite the 2011 Supercross season! So what can you expect when the gates drop Saturday night at A1? Here are my top five things to look for:
