MX ADVENTURES: RC update, Breast Cancer & Supercross, Matt Goerke interview
For all you Ricky Carmichael fans who still love and miss the guy, you can still be active in Ricky's four wheel career. October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. But Feld Motorsports, and their Supercross race at Anaheim February 13, 2010 will help with Breast Cancer awareness as well. Wear pink for that race folks! Anaheim 3 Supercross is going PINK! (I expect everyone to be wearing at least somethink pink : ) Click here for more info.

Source: http://moto.mpora.com/news/weekend-offroad-world.html Women's AMA Motocross National Championship numbers for 2011 seasonBeginning last season, MX Sports Pro Racing implemented a new numbering system for the Women's AMA National Motocross championship. In years past, riders selected their numbers based on availability and order of selection was determined by where a rider finished in the standings the previous season. While the champion was designated to wear the number one plate, all other competitors were permitted to select any number that was available. The 2010 campaign marked the debut of a new numbering system that determines a rider's number by where she finished the previous season. As a result, one's finishing position in the championship would serve as her number for the following season. While Women's MX Champion Jessica Patterson will enter 2011 with the #1 plate on her bike, jersey and helmet, below is a list of the remaining numbers for next season's MotorcycleUSA Women's Motocross Championship in accordance to each woman's position in the final standings for 2010: WMX Rider Insight: Vicki Golden's 2010 Season ReviewWhen Vicki Golden turned pro in 2009, she went into the season open minded; she just wanted to see how she'd do in the Pros. It worked out pretty well for Vicki as she consistently finished in the top 4 in the first 5 rounds of the 2009 WMX season. After a season ending injury to Trey Canard, Geico Honda gave Vicki an opportunity to ride Trey's bike the remainder of the season of the Women's Motocross Series. It was a great experience as she finished 4th in Colorado, but her season ended prematurely as she injured herself in a practice session at Perris Raceway before the 6th round in Washougal. In 2010 Vicki came back healthy and was picked up by Moto Concepts Yamaha. She wasn?t as consistent as she expected, but she did finish the season 4th overall points, with a 3rd place finish at the Pala Raceway National. In 2011 she will be running the #4 plate in the AMA Women's Motocross Series.
Vicki got back from Geneva, Switzerland a few weeks ago where she participated in a women?s supercross exhibition race with some pretty stiff competition.
